Quick Start

Zircon is a DEX currently living on Moonriver and BNB Chain.

Farming

Zircon uses a unique system to offer single-sided farms for every token. However, since you're still providing liquidity for a pool, there may be impermanent loss depending on which type of vault you select.

Float vaults are variable and are designed to trend to zero total impermanent loss over a long period of time. However, in small time frames, they can generate either impermanent loss or impermanent gain. The divergence indicator shows whether there is impermanent loss (positive percentage) or impermanent gain (negative percentage).

Stable vaults aim to keep impermanent loss exactly at zero by automatically hedging it and accumulating reserves. However, during periods of major market turbulence, they may not always be able to maintain their promise in full. Stable vaults marked as "Low" or "Medium" may apply reductions when exiting them, though this effect is likely to be temporary unless the pair stops trading.

The platform token for Zircon Gamma is ZRG. Farming rewards on Zircon typically consist of a combination of fees and ZRG tokens. ZRG is the DAO governance token for the platform, with a planned buyback and burn mechanism to share platform revenue.

Swapping

Zircon supports two methods for performing swaps:

  1. Classic swap with slippage: The taker fee is 0.15%, but you may end up paying more due to low liquidity and trade slippage.

  2. Pylon-based swap (Hybrid Add/Burn): This method has no slippage for up to 30% of the pool's liquidity. To compensate, it has a higher 0.3% base fee + a dynamic rate based on price changes in the past minutes (the total fee is rarely more than 1%).

To perform a Hybrid Swap, you need to combine a single-sided method with a two-token method: enter with one, exit with two, or enter with two, and exit with one. 50% of your assets will be converted to the other token in the pair, with no slippage. This method requires sufficient liquidity on the other side; otherwise, the single-sided portion will incur slippage.

We expect to make this a stand-alone feature soon! However, it already works now.
